Best Paintball Gun
82What is in the Best Paintball Gun?
So, you're looking for the best paintball gun? You won't find it. Yes that's right you won't find it my friend, because finding the best paintball gun is like looking for the best place to eat. There is not a best place to eat; it's based on the personal preference of the person that is hungry. You become the answer to the best paintball gun. It also secondarily depends upon where you play or how you play. The best paintball gun though, is really a matter of personal preference. The best paintball gun for you will be determined by the size of your wallet. What can you spend? If you can only afford a cheap, lack of accuracy gun then that is the best paintball gun for you. Its better than playing without a gun, hey you may even become better if you can figure out how the paintball exits the barrel each time so you can master the art of your "best paintball gun".
Is this the best paintball gun?

Now let us not lose focus, the 98 custom made by Tipmann is a high-quality marker, remember we want this best paintball gun to be for those of you with cob-webs in your wallet.
Don't discount Tipmann in the run for the best paintball gun!
Tipmann
Now stop to think for a second before you say "Man, a Tipmann is garbage it only shoots like 11 bps." If that is your argument then you need to learn a little battlefield tactics instead of worrying how many balls per second you can shoot. Honestly, if people are just going to be trigger happy. Just wait behind a tree and then when they reload walk up and shoot them in the face. The search for the best paintball gun should not be about seeing how much money you can spend. Remember paintballing with a gun is better than paintballing without a gun. Who cares if you can't afford anything else apart from a Tipmann if that is the case, then a Tipmann is just what you want. The best Tipmann out there is a 98 custom basic ultra. These will run you about $150 and they are very basic but upgradable. Start low and wait until you can afford to turn your Tipmann into the best paintball gun, performance wise.
Best paintball gun = Tippmann A-5 Paintball Marker
Tippmann A-5 Paintball Marker and best paintball gun go hand in hand.
Tippmann A-5 Paintball Marker
If your looking for the best paintball gun in the speed department, then enter the Tipmann they are known for there speed. More specific is the Tippmann A-5 paintball marker; it has cyclone system that allows it to fire balls as fast a you can get your finger gunning that trigger. The Tippmann A-5 paintball marker can be taken apart and put back together in 60 seconds while you are on the paintball field and you won't need a single tool. The Tippmann A-5 paintball marker takes expertise, precision, and toughness and puts them together so you don't have to worry about your gun, but only you're focus on the field of paintball.
The Tippmann A-5 paintball marker and has fully upgradeable parts like the barrel, triggers, and can be used with different types gunpowder (air), like nitrogen, CO2, and compressed air. Bestpaintball gun might have been Kingman Spyder RS
Kingman Spyder RS
Wow, the Kingman Spyder RS is a low end paintball gun and the low end paintball guns make for the best paintball gun. Why spend a grip on a high end when you can battle the same with a low end. The Kingman Spyder RS runs very well with its rapid charge inline regulator for CO2. The pressure that a Kingman Spyder RS functions at (300 PSI) makes it an anti-premature paintball breaker. Unlike the Tippmann A-5 paintball marker, the Kingman Spyder RS can function on either CO2 or compressed air. This is a small difference when searching for the best paintball gun, further proving that the best paintball gun is found in the eye of the beholder. The Kingman Spyder RS shoots 20 BPS, which in the grand scheme means nothing unless you are playing speed paintball, which by the way is not a favorite. What good is shooting 20 BPS into a tree if you are playing in the woodlands? Your focus should be on paintball battle tactics not BPS. The Kingman Spyder RS can be shot semi-auto or burst, and with its 3 way adjustable trigger the Kingman Spyder RS makes a good candidate for the best paintball gun.
Best paintball gun second to the Tipmann, Spyder MR2 Intro
Spyder MR2, Second place in the best paintball gun.
Spyder MR2
How can we mention the best paintball gun without taking a look at the Spyder MR2 which shoots an amazing 25 bps, for those of you who care about BPS. With a 2- way adjustable trigger to help meet your style. Slick design makes this Kingman Spyder MR2 ideal for customization. Unlike the Kingman Spyder RS, the Spyder MR2 has fully automatic firing ability on top of semi-automatic and burst. Spyder MRS has the ability to use either CO2 or compressed air. Honestly, what makes a paint gun the best paint ball gun is when it is customized. The reason is simple you can have a Spyder MR2 for example and you can customize it to look like an AK-47, but you can take that same Spyder MR2 and make a sniper rifle. The possibilities are endless. The MR series has followed ritual of having these guns put their best foot forward in the departments of power, dependability, and toughness. The Spyder MR2 follows that tradition with ease and is another affordable choice for the best paintball gun.

The Us army Alpha Black is the best. its pretty much the 98 costom with full upgrades but shoots a little faster and harder.
I would pay $2000 for the new Planet Eclipse CSL. Oh wait I already did. This is the most amazing gun I have ever shot. Smooth agitate and generally stunning. Buy buy buy only 500 made and over half are already sold
i have a us army carver one with apex, bipod ,m4 carry handle, car stock, scope, custom feedneck, and etrig and I'm 13 and beat people on teams with big bad guns all the time you don't need a dye or an invert axe or mini its useless i play weekly year round and I've slipped and dropped my gun in mud and just used a squeegee in the barrel and kept going a5s are okay but why do you need one all you need is a us army they are by far the best and easiest on the wallet
U are all nerds when it comes to paintball guns
from a purely business point of view, we run ion's and A5 and pro carbines at the field i work at and i would have agreed with you on the ion 3 years ago but now it is almost impossible to get parts for them, especially boards. We got A5 around 8 months ago and they have been a massive hit with customers but of late we have been having trouble with them dumping all their gas within the first couple of shots. In a couple of weeks we are getting in 50 brand new blitz's which are a fantastic basic field gun so gunna put my vote to them. personally i love my 2011 dye Nt but no way im letting anyone else near tht thing.
I have a tippmann 98 custom with a 16 inch barrel and i could bury that thing in the mud and it would still work very reliable gun. any ideas on Spyder Pilot?
I run with the FEP Quest, and it is seriously a godsend. Light, accurate, quick to disassemble, easy to maintain. A very good Low/Mid range marker for anyone serious about the sport.
i think its the dye by a long shot
I would highly recommend these guyshttp://www.facebook.com/pages/Thin-Air-Sports/1046
Their 4B Bolt Kit is ready and their barrel kit and gun is out soon.
It looks like this will be a good year for paintball!!!
Tippmann X7 Egrip with J&J 16 inch ceramic barrel, all aluminum upgrades, has done a fantastic job, but i have over $500 into it. It looks like the real thing and with the aluminum front bolt and power tube, it has a great sound. Accuracy is a problem and only run HPA, Co2 seems to make gun unreliable as far as the cyclone feed system and ball chops.
First of all it doesn't matter if the gun can shoot with CO2 or compressed air (HPA). HPA is best because of consistency, CO2 is good if you cant afford HPA. The cheaper Spyders can shoot cheap paint and are light (like the Sonix), the parts they use in the cheaper Spyders last a long time and are reliable. As far as small speedball guns go the Invert Mini is the best for performance, speed and accuracy; also while looking at guns that shoot high BPS they are only as good as the hopper on top. Just because your gun can shoot 30 BPS doesn't mean anything if your hopper cant keep up. The Tippmann markers are amazing and now with all the advances the 98 custom is not worth the time or money, especially since the A-5 and X-7 have most of the modifications most people would put on the 98 custom it just ends up being a waste to get the 98. The MR2 from Spyder is a good gun but very big and bulky not to mention reliability is not always on its side but just like the others a excellent choice. As far as pistols go Tiberius has some excellent stuff. All of the paintball guns i have mentioned can be purchased in Canada and America
"Unlike the Tippmann A-5 paintball marker, the Kingman Spyder RS can function on either CO2 or compressed air" tippmann a5 runs just fine on all types of air just so you know...
Good Job.. I like how you mentioned Tippmann.. One Shot, One kill.. What about the Tippmann 98 custom?? Reliable consistant? Same with the A-5 but if you chop a paintball in the A-5's cyclone feed its no fun cleaning..
Thanks for the Hub.
best paintball gun.. so far My Vm has carried me past Spyders, Tippmans, cockers and Angels. LOL I think ill stick to old school for a while longer.
Though... I do love the look of the A-5, and the Rap4. the sniper model Ill reserve judgement. My VM customized for sniper work is still pretty good at its job.
I own three VMs LOL each set up for a different mission.
Im still waiting on a decent Paint pistol though
i have an a5 with the flat line barrel and a few mods to the cyclone feeder....it will knock a person off there feet at 50 to 75 yards...a5 is the best
that was a really interesting article about What is in the Best Paintball Gun keep up the good work
Can anyone comfirm if these paint ball guns are available in Canada?
secondly all spyders and tipmans are crap compard to any other gun on the market right now
the best gun out there is by far either an intimidator 4 acuracy or ego 10 for bps the ego can shoot about 20 bps amd the timmy is about 15 but i can hit a nickel with from 50 feet no joke, oh and the invert mini is a really good starting gun 4 about 6 hundred bucks. BTW the timmy will cost about 6 hundred and the new ego will cost 1400 so i dont no
Hey, good reviews, but what is your thoughts on the Invert mini, the newer, more advanced ones? =)
Nice Hub! I'm going paintballing with son this week
I agree the Tippmann are great and hold up like a champ.. Who cares if some hot shots say they dont shoot as fast.. They also are less likely to break on the field. Also a great mid level gun is the Dangerious Power fusion or the G3 these are a great next step if you are ready to upgrade and compete with guns costing 4 times its price.
These reviews were extremely helpful. I prefer Rap4 paintball sniper rifles. They are awesome and very realistic looking.
Hey great reviews, I love my Ion!
